A Day Out...

Last week I went to Pine Needles with my wonderful friend Rae Ann for a day out celebrating her birthday.

Pine Needles is a quilt shop located inside
Gardner Village which is in West Jordan, Utah.

Here is Rae Ann on the right with Wendy in the middle and Cecilia on the left.
Wendy and Cecilia work at Pine Needles and were just as helpful as could be.
As you know, every quilt shop has it's own personality and here are a few photos to show you the personality of Pine Needles...

Rae Ann and I had so much fun that day...this was our first stop. I'll show you where we went next at another time...
I always love visiting Pine Needles and I hope you enjoyed it too!
I also hope everyone and a wonderful and restful Mother's Day...I did. We spent the day with my mom and dad and the evening with my other mom and dad (Mr. Honey's parents)...

Today I am going to get some good studio time in working on my next Paper Doll Quilt block for next weeks class...

Have a happy Monday everyone!

I'm awful at knowing my friends birthdays. Darn. Belated wishes to Rae Ann. This looks like a great day. Pine Needles is a favorite. I saw Sandy from Pine Needles has a Moda Bakeshop project up. Those big teacups are wonderful. I love mine. But now I want another!

Rae Ann just posted about your fun day, too. I am so sad that I couldn't join you for such a wonderful time. Pine Needles rocks.

Lori, Pine Needles is one of my favorite quilt shops! I have their punch card in my wallet right now, even though I live in NH!! I am coming back to UT this July and plan on making a trip (or 2!) to Gardner Village and filling up that punch card ;) The bakery there is yummy too!

Pine Needles is a favorite of mine too. My friend and I stopped in there "quickly" while we were in SLC for HMQS in May and stayed for at least 2 hours! I wanted to bring home a little of everything in the shop. I have a punch card from there too...and I'm in Canada! Thanks for sharing Lori, you always look like you're having sooo much fun! :-)
