Catching Up with Nanette...

Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend the day at my house with my BFF Nanette of Freda's Hive.
Nanette is just what her blog header says..."One of a Kind"....she came over to my house in the morning so that we could have a nice long visit.
The two of us hadn't been able to get together for a while so it was nice to do some cathing up.

Nanette is a very talented quilt and pattern designer. Her mixed bag is something I would love to have and carry on my shoulder!

This is her newest pattern..."Freda's Flowers"...named after her dear mother.

Nanette loves vintage just like I do. This is her adorable "Kettles in the Kitchen" quilt.

And her "All Dressed Up" quilt....which is just adorable as you can see!

This one is close to my heart....Nanette named it "In the Leafy Tree Tops"...which is one of my very favorite primary the ric rac branches!

Nanette and I had no one there to take our picture so she snapped one of us together in my living room mirror!

Nanette was snapping pictures all over the place....when I turned around the corner in my kitchen she caught me!
I hope you go on over to Nanettes blog and check out all of her other quilts. I only showed you a few of them!
Click HERE to visit my BFF Nanette:)...I know you'll be glad that you did!

Isn't it wonderful to have a BFF that loves the same things that you do? My BFF lives 1000 miles away, but we try to get together (either at her place or mine) at least twice a year. What a wonderful blessing to share in the joy of friendship.

I think the two of you are like peas in a pod, am I right? Enjoyed seeing all the quilts and color and good stuff! I so enjoyed visiting both of you. Carol

Hi Lori - my BFF name is Lori too! Just found your blog from SewnwithGrace! I visited Nanette's blog also! I just love your home and your quilts! Do you have pattern for the "Dishes" quilt that is hanging in your foyer?
If you do, could you post info/link on your blog if you can share?
Thanks, I will visit you often!

Hi Lori,
Well I have not been blogging much or reading blogs since my return from market (my book manuscript was the all time consuming deadline) I could not let another day go by with out telling you that I did visit the Riley Blake booth. I know someone else visited and photos were taken of your new fabbies coming soon. So I went back to my manuscript having had been late on the report back to you about the RB booth and stuff.

Will email you the whole funny story.
