Thinkin Pink!!!..

When I was at the drugstore buying Hello Kitty band-aids...and waiting in line, I was caught up in the marketing ploy of putting magazines at eye level, therefore enabling a last minute purchase by the consumer....

um...

that would be me.

Well...they got me.

I spied the cover of the March issue of House Beautiful....sub-titled "the Power of Pink!...the whole issue just about beautiful things for your home that are pink.

I heart pink!

Especially in February...there certainly is alot of pink out there to be hearting.

There are a few things inside the mag that I'd like to share with you that make my heart go pitter-pat...

I fell in love with the picture on the cover...but more specific...this carved wood octagon coffee table.

I definitely heart this....so cottagey cute!!!
I'm thinkin it fits in my livingroom
.

How about this gorgeous pink Kitchen-Aid...I already have a white one but I'm thinkin I would love one in every color!
It reminds me of my Grandma Crane...she has a pink and turquoise kitchen.

My pink heart skipped a beat when I saw this gorgeous settee...I'm thinkin I want to settee upon it and read a good book while drinking peppermint tea....or else... settee upon it and visit with you:)
What time can you be here?

I think I need this pink fridge for my studio...it would be perfect in there!

If only they made a smaller size to fit my studio and my budget...haha.

Oh yes...I think pink office supplies are a must have for me.

I think I will order me some of this pink tape.

Love it!....I could use this for a million things.

BTW...is it just me... or does this remind anyone else of the pink tape we used for our hair in the late 60's to early 70's?...lol

A pink extension cord you ask?...oh yes. I thinkk I would totally be rockin it at my next quilt retreat!

And because the cover on my iPhone is scratched...I think this would be the perfect replacement:)...cute huh?
You all know I love my iPhone...and I would love it even better dressed up in pink.

This little tag would be adorable on my cute little 4 month old puppy...Daisy.

She's my new best friend.

And while I'm at it...I think I'll use my paypal account and order this 25 carat Pink Diamond ring worth 46 million dollars!....a girl can dream can't she?

I'm just thinkin.

In order for that to happen Ed McMahan would have had to show up on my front porch a few years back...and several times!...lol.

Well there you have it.

My thinkin about pink.

Do you heart pink too?

Have a fantastic weekend my friends...I hope you are able to do exactly what your pink heart desires:)!

Oh wow Lori, I am a true pinkaholic! I have to keep it a little under wraps as my guys just don't understand about "pink"!

When I saw your post title I thought maybe you were announcing a new Grand daughter. That's my favorite Pink... When I was a girl my dad asked what color to paint the house and guess what He did it-we lived in a Pink house with a Pink bathroom too.

Thanks for all the pink love! That coffee table is to die for! I was a teen in the 60s and 70s, but never put tape in my hair. Wondering about that?!

I have a sparkly pink extension cord. It's only 8 feet long (at most 10, maybe only 6). BUT .... when I take it to outings (I do a lot with the Boy Scouts, in addition to quilting retreats, etc.) NO ONE else ever has one like mine.

And, being pink, it keeps the Boys from borrowing my stuff. Well, all except my son, who also learned this trick. :)

It's amusing now that he's an adult to see him go out to Boy Scout events with pink items. [Hot pink is his preference, while baby pink is mine]. The boys are repulsed ... and often give him a bit of grief, until he says "Yeah, but, because it's pink, YOU aren't bothering with it, and if you're seen with my stuff, people will know that it's MINE, and not yours." :)

And, for what it's worth ... they sell HOT PINK DUCT TAPE! :) I've also seen it in camo-pink, and zebra striped hot pink. :) So, if you have a traditional, boring cord, you can always 'candy stripe' your cord with duct tape to keep it unique. :)

Isn't that ring just gorgeous? And the settee isn't half bad either. I might just have to get myself a copy of the magazine so I can check out everything pink. It's one of my fave colours as well.

I love pink too. Only one time I found I didn't like it was when I painted our bedroom Pepto-bismal pink. My poor husband endured it for a couple of years and couldn't wait to help me when I decided to repaint!

Lori: I'll be over and bring pretty pink rose painted tea cups to sit in the settee and we can talk for hours! I so heart pink and my husband has even learned to endure it.

Very pretty things! I adore that settee! I use to hoard old frames, still hsve some in my container. I think one day when I go bsck to work (hand over my ears) I'll upholster footstools and small items like this settee in quilts! ;)

Vie finally figured how to put photos on my blog again! I sat on top of a sand dune all day doing so,,, lol
Missed you, glad to catch up! Xo
