Shabby Shades...another New Pattern!

Hello cute people!...
Did you have a nice weekend?
I hope sew:)
It's time for lots of new pictures
and another new pattern!
"Shabby Shades"

This quilt allowed me to embellish
to my hearts content...
I don't know about you...
but I really love a pattern that uses
all kinds of trims and buttons:)
I even got to use crochet flowers and yo-yo's!

I embroidered the pullchain on each lamp
and on the end of each chain is
a gray crystal bead.
I used Daisy Cottage 10" squares
for the lamps and border along with the
4 solids that come in the line,
Clean White, Pewter,
Daisy Yellow and Hot Pink.
The binding is Daisy Cottage Dots in gray
cut on the bias.
I hope you like my new pattern
"Shabby Shades"
and that you want to make one
for your very own cottage:)
More to come tomorrow!
xx

Sigh - a deep sigh - I can remember that lampshade shape when it was THE latest thing way back in the 50's/60's. I wanted my mother to change all her shades to ones like yours but she never did!

These look sweet, fascinating, and French to me. Where does all your inspiration come from?
I have a shabby lamp in my own little cottage. The cat batted at one of the roses on the shade, so now it is a "shaby" shabby lamp!
You have a busy bee in that bonnet of yours, for you never cease to amaze with your creativity. Love it all!
