I'm a Pinhead!!!...

Yep.
I said it.
Well apparently I have another
addiction besides dresdens:)
I am totally and completely addicted to Pinterest.
Yes...I'm a pinhead!
I just can't stop pinning all that
good stuff out there on the internet.
But it's ok because I don't want to stop
and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I thought I'd share with you just a few things I have pinned on my pinboards...I'm up to like 150 boards I think!
Pinboards are simply different categories that I have created on pinterest so that I can save pictures along with it's original source.
I love that when I "pin" a picture that inspires me to one of my pinboards...
I can click on the source link and it will take me there!

Which is really handy for saving
tutorials like this one.
These are by my friend Ayumi at Pink Penguin.
Aren't they cute?
I pinned this picture onto my pin board
that I titled
All I have to do now is click on the
picture on my board...
click on the source link and it will
take me to Ayumi's cute
Easy peasy:)

How about this fun pencil pouch tutorial?
It's by Vanessa from LBG Studio.
It looks like a quick and easy gift for
the upcoming holidays...so...
I pinned it onto my
pinboard for easy reference when I
want to make it.

The tutorial for this quilt is by my BFF Nanette from Freda's Hive.
It's her Scraptacular Picnic quilt.
I love it and I want to make it and use up some of my scraps...because I have just a few!
I saved Nanette's tutorial for future reference by pinning it onto my
pinboard.

And just look at this
little cutie patootie!...
This is my friend Amy's from Nana Conpany tutorial for her needlebook.
this is the front...

And this is the middle...adorable right?
I pinned this one to my piboard called
These are just a few of the pictures that I have pinned on my pin boards.

Pinterest is a great place for me to save and organize all of the pictures, recipes, ideas and quilty tutorials that inspire me on the internet.
They really should have named it Pinspiration...(I'm just sayin:)

If you havn't joined yet...
I highly recommend it!
A big part of the fun is following other pinners who have similar interests as you,
and you can repin what they have already pinned onto your own pinboards.

So here is your invitation...
click on the link below and
you can be a pinhead like me!
xx

You are an amazing pinner! Don't even know if that's a verb. I already follow you on Pinterest -- I think maybe you introduced me to it, but I'm not sure -- and I'm always amazed at all the very cool stuff you pin. I've often wondered where you find it all, or how you search. I stick to repinning most of the time, although I do pin new pics periodically. And I do try to backtrack to find the original post when I'm repinning -- drives me crazy when a pin comes from flickr and not the post that actually has the tutorial. Now that can be a challenge, but the thrill when I find it is awesome! Keep it up, I'll keep following.

I knokw that I have to get on the pinterest train I am afraid it would be a complete addiction. I love your boards though, they are adorable just like you. I love all the names you have for your boards. I feel honored to be among one of your pins.

Oh one more thing, I am making Nannette's picknic quilt out of the scraps from my jeweled wedding ring quilt. I decided to make my quilt square to make the deadline so I have a lot of leftover circles. I am putting one circle in the center of the 4 1/2" squares, and then a scrap if sew cherry for the 2 1/2" squares. It is going to be adorable.

I have joined but I can't place a pin on my iPad. I need help. You are doing exactly what I want to do. I have only been able to bookmark them or I email them to myself and print them off on my PC. I don't really want all that paper unless I'm really ready to make it. BTW I love the little cutlery baskets, too, and I have one cut out and ready to quilt to hold my combs and brushes in the bathroom.

I love pinterest. I was saving images on my desktop to remind me of things to make, but having the link saved with it on pinterest is way better!

I loooove Pintrest, but spent waay too much time there, and found I got absolutely nothing else done!! Now I get lost just clicking around and forget to pin - so haven't pinned that much. You, though, have treasure trove of boards - wow!! I see a long night in my future, and with permission, will have to use some of your Board names. I don't often comment, but coming here is always highlight for me, and often think on what I've seen here all throughout the day! Thank you for always making it enjoyable!!

Reading your first post about Pinterest sent me there immediately. I joined and have really loved having boards and checking out all the others. Just gorgeous things out there, fun things to do, inspiration, etc. etc. Love your boards, Lori. How can anyone be bored? I am more apt to be overwhelmed by all there is to do and see. By the way, your fabric lines are beautiful.
