On the Funny Farm...

Today I thought I would show you a few more of my
 blocks that I have completed.

I feel like I'm on the funny farm because I am on the final time crunch to get things wrapped up to send to fall market in Houston.
Sew much work but sew much fun!!!

Pictures of all of those projects are coming soon...
but for right now...pictures of FW blocks.

This quilt is so much fun to work on...
and I love using bits of fabrics that look like they might have been in a quilt that the wife of a farmer made many years ago.

I'd really like to get this quilt finished up and on my kitchen wall where it belongs...soon!

I'm hoping that you have a quilty kind of day my friends:)
xx

You must have a BIG wall if you're making all of the Farmer's Wife Blocks. I just finished making all 111 of them this month and my top is assembled and ready to quilt. I had to take it outside for a picture. I love your use of colors in the blocks.

Oh Lori! I absolutely love you! I was on my way to a Pity Party, just me, no guests, when I decided to visit your blog...it always cheers me up and spurs me on!!! Although it does nothing for pity party's! Thanks so much for the lift and the very much needed inspiration...I'm off now to have a quilty kind of day! Pity Party averted! xo, Nan

Your blocks are so precious! They really do remind me of what a farmer's wife might use. :o) Such darling prints.
I was curious if you happen to know what the background fabric is in your cups and saucers block? (White with the little blue and red flowers.)
I have been sewing non stop and it feels fantastic!!
I finished the apple blocks and can't wait to show them!! Gosh this is a darling block Lori! Thanks for having us make it. :o)
Have a great afternoon. Trish xo
