I thought I would show you just a little bit of making the block.....
Sophie paper doll is named after my little grandaughter Sophie Belle. Someday when she is old enough, I'm going to teach her how to embroidery, make yo-yo's and quilt in real life!
But until then, I'm happy just to rock her in my favorite chair and sing to her my favorite songs.
I'm having so much fun being a grandma.....
Like it??? Adore it is the right thing to say about it. I love watching Sophie's progress! Thanks for the treat:)
ReplyDeleteI love it! Can't wait until it goes on sale.

ReplyDeleteLori, this is my favorite block yet! It is so cute. Reminds me of when I was a little girl. I learned how to embroider when I was 11. I can hardly wait to get started!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the round hathox suitcase. My daughter has a fondness for them and my parent's recently gave her their original samsonite luggage set, monogramed in brass, with train case and hat box...the suitcases also have the original hangers.
ReplyDeleteThose are the tiniest yo yos! And I must say your fingernails are quite festive.
