Day Out ...2

After we left Pine Needles we went right next door to Aunt Elsies antique shop....

...I've posted about Aunt Elsie's before. Denise is the owner and she has just recently moved her shop into Gardner Village.

She has all kinds of wonderful antiques and also things made from all things vintage like these heart sachets made from vintage bedspreads, buttons and lace.

She has alot of vintage sewing supplies...

...and crochet things.

Hankies in an old train case...

Lots and lots of beautiful vintage dishes...

...and beaded purses.

She also has several things on consignment made from vintage finds like this cute pincushion.

...a shabby chic birds nest...

Lots of red and white ....which is usually what I am drawn to first.
I always find a red thing or two (or 3)...lol... to go in my kitchen...

another darling pincushion...

...more supplies...

....all things pink and lots of crystal....

...more gorgeous china...

...and a large selection of vintage jewelry.

This is a photo of Aunt Elsie herself which hangs in the shop above the door.
Denise named the shop in memory of her ....
If you are ever in Gardner Village and like all things vintage like I do...go check out Aunt Elsie's....I promise that you will be happy that you did!
