My first giveaway- who wants to play?

These are fabrics that my Grandma gave me. They were in an old trunk and she said I could have them but she did'nt understand why I would want them. She said "Oh Lori, why would you want that old stuff? I've had it for years!" and I said "that's exactly why I want it Grandma..." and then I brought it home.
If you would like to win a 10" x 10" square of each of these fabrics, along with some other quilty- vintage- yo-yo related goodies- join me in my first giveaway!
This is how we play- remember yesterdays post about my yo-yo quilt? Well, it's time for me to count them.
Heres what you have to do, guess how many yo-yo's are in my quilt and the one who comes the closest wins the prize! ( I PROMISE IT WILL BE GOOD)
Here are the only clues that you get;
1.The yo-yo's each finish to about 1 1/2" each.
2. The quilt measures about 100" x 85".
3. There are 6 scallops (pointy ones, you know what I mean) on each side, and 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom.
O.K. there are your clues. Put your thinking caps on and sharpen those pencils (or calculaters, whatever) and get to some math ladies! Leave a comment along with your guess by March 18th and you are officially entered. Remember to check back to see if you have won. BTW, if there is a tie, you both win! Each person may only enter once.
Have fun with the guessing while I have fun with the counting!

  2. Hi...I'm new to your blog...and I love it!!! I came over from Nanette's (who I just met recently at the quilt retreat at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon). Your patterns are terrific...I've never seen them here in southern Nevada...but I do get up in the Salt Lake area occasionally...so I'm going to have to look for them!
