Okay...my project for this week is complete. The block is finished and I'm just now working on instructions...pictures...cutting list for Material Girls...etc.
The embroidery details really add alot to my designs...below is a photo with all of the applique complete...but no embroidery yet.
Here is what it looks like with the embroidery....the block is complete and ready for class.
This is the 3rd class and also the 3rd block in the quilt....there will be a total of 14 blocks and 15 classes in this applique club...the last class will be border and sashing instructions along with the finishing kit for everyone.....it's going to be a fun year playing with paper dolls!
I agree about the embroidery! It's such an easy way to add so much wonderful detail & interest! (Although I do think that your applique is phenomenal!) Thanks for the peeks. . . it's so fun to watch your ideas come to life! xo, Bren
I just realized I saw your patterns at pipers and wanted them all, I didn't realize it was one in the same. Now I just need to make a run to SLC to buy them LOL!
Fantastic patterns you need to get a shop up in the Ogden area to carry them. What can I do to help?
Lori, I don't know HOW you can walk without tipping over from all that creativity and talent inside that head of yours! This is just so adorable! Of course, everything you create is adorable!!!
I have just stumbled upon your blog and I am totally enchanted and amazed with the quality and the originality of your work! It is just beautiful -I LOVE IT! Your blog is fun -read thru quite a few of your older posts and I know that I am definitely going to be a follower. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing! roccagal {srocca2004@hotmail.com}
