Sew Cherry = Sew Busy...

I've been sew busy in my studio because.... I finally got a some yardage of Sew Cherry!

I don't have my bolts yet but atleast I have enough of each piece to get going on a quilt or maybe 5...lol.

I've been having fun playing with each and every piece...

Taking fun pictures...

And cutting up roly-polys of Sew Cherry!

I wish I could show you what I have been making...

But that will have to wait for the big reveal at Spring Market :)

In the meanwhile....I will just show you little pieces....

of the fun I am having!...

I've saved every scrap sew far...I can't throw them away yet!

I'm still counting the days until the bolts arrive so that I can put borders, bindings and backs on my projects...it should be any day now!

I promise you'll be the first to know :)

Happy sewing girls...

xx

  5. I have an idea for you - If you save your selvage strips, you can wind them around small 3-4" styrofoam balls. Once all the stro is covered, and you like the way they look, tuck the last piece under with a drop of Roxannes glue baste it. Then put these balls in a pretty bowl to display inyour sewing room!

  22. Looks like so much fun! I loved the pics of your retreat - as usual, I'm green with envy! I have a question about market for you...is this a closed market? Can anyone just walk in or is a business license needed? And when is it? I'm trying to decide if I can come and what I need to do to get in! Is it like Houston? Thx! xo, Nan
