Hello again cute people!
Today I've been doing a little appliqué....
I'm using several of the Riley Blake
that go with
And I'm pairing them up
with lots of
5" squares from Millie's too.
I'm creating yet another new pattern
that I'll be able to show you
in a few weeks...
xx
Lori
So cute! Can't wait to see what you are up to. :0)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter.
Can't wait to see all of those patterns you are working on Lori! The little applique is lovely.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new fabric line! For whatever reason, applique intimidates me. I really need to take another class at my local quilt shop. I would love to incorporate more applique in my projects. It's so pretty and creative. You inspire me, Lori!
ReplyDeleteI love the cute applique and enjoy making my own little flowers with EQ to put on my solid squares. I use the English Paper Piecing method, in memory of my English G-ma, Flossy.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute appliques.....am waiting with baited breath.....to see all the patterns you've designed for Millie's Closet :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you have done with your new line...HAPPY EASTER Lori
ReplyDeleteSo cute Lori! That Millie's Closet inspires so many ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love using applique and this looks like it will be a fun project.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of applique..because of you Lori, I've learned how much I LOVE applique! I've been working on your "Grandma's Kitchen" quilt pattern for far longer than I care to admit. But I'm almost done!! Just adding the final border now :)
ReplyDeleteIt's the first quilt I've ever made and it's been a wonderful, fun adventure. I'm going to do the "Women's Work" quilt next.
There are some pictures of the quilt in it's "almost done" state on my blog if you want to take a peek. Don't judge me for my lack of quilting skills though! I've found that applique and piecing a quilt is so much fun...but the quilting part..not so much for me. :))
Thank you for your wonderful designs!!
