Wow!...I have really missed you guys and now that Spring Quilt Market is over where I showed Millie's Closet...I can get back to my regular schedule of posting.
I have a lot of things to show you and will be able to as soon as my patterns are ready... soon.
blue/green color way
In the meantime...
I wanted to tell you a little bit
about my "designer cloth" prints...
aka cheater cloth.
I have used the fabric straight
from the bolt on several projects
and that's been really fun...
but I also cut it up into squares
to use individually on several projects.
Each square measures
a little larger than 5 1/2"...
making them perfect to use
as you normally would a charm square.
red/aqua/pink color way
Here are close up pics of each one showing a few of the squares...
but there are 20 different prints
(from the bolts)
in each color way...
yellow/green color way
So it has really provided me
with a good variety of prints
to work with in my new patterns and
it's been sew fun!
I made a little project using
2 1/2" squares...
a few from the bolt and the rest from
the designer cloth.
The project also included
my new lt. gray solid
and red perle cotton.
I'm planning on doing a tutorial
on this little project...
just wondering if you are interested?
xx
Lori
