Quilty Fun Photo Shoot at my House!!!...

Last week was the photo shoot for my new book

I have been posting several photos daily on Instagram...
but if you do not follow me there...(beelori1)
I'll show you some here:)

The photo shoot took place in pretty much every
nook and cranny of my little cottage:)

If you are just tuning in and haven't yet heard about Quilty Fun
to find out when it is available
and to pre-order
at 20% off!

So here I am with some of the quilts all folded up in my vintage pie safe:)

Here is Jocelyn, Kimberly and Sarah...
some of the gang from
and It's Sew Emma...
who I am proud to say are my publishers!

Aren't they the cutest???
They spent all last week with me snapping pictures right and left.
These girls are amazing and
I could not have done it without them!

My family also helped out too...
and here is Kassidy with a few of her friends
(thanks Chris and Michael)
They stopped by to see her ...
and I promptly put them to work
painting snowballs for props the next day:)

And my 16 year old Sterling who helped out some but of course...
only if there was food involved...haha

Of course Mr.Honey helped out ALOT:)
The first thing he did was to tie up the vintage chandelier in the photo below...
it was in the way!!!

I promise that my house
was in order before we started ...
but by the end of each day it pretty much looked like
a small tornado had gone through each room!
I put it back together every night
so that we could start fresh again in the morning.

We took lots of photos in my studio too...
taking closeups of  my favorite notions and methods for the book.

Just look at messy hair...
this was at the end of a long day!

We started moving furniture and props around immediately...

And snapping pictures everywhere!

we had a lot of fun and giggles...

and spent a lot of time trying to get everything set up just right:)

I took several photos from my kitchen ...

where I could get a birds eye view on my front room.

This is part of my family room...
can you see my studio at the end of the hall?

Jocelyn...
on the ladder hanging up my Calico Hive quilt:)

I have plenty of vintagey props...
I've been collecting for years and that's what decorates my home.
Most everything in my home is vintage:)

Kimberly pressing a technique sample....
getting it ready for it's close up:)

Sarah...
snapping a few of my Cute Cups cushion...

And my sample of what chain piecing looks like.

My Butterfly Garden quilt...

Setting up for the front cover.
My row along and the remaining projects stacked.

My Vintage Baskets quilt...

Setting up for the notions photo...

Town Square quilt...

Six of the quilts together...

Sarah in the morning light...

Jocelyn still taking photos of everything in my studio!

Showing the scrappy binding of the
Snowball Fight table runner.

Kimberly doing some editing on the directions...

another shot of Butterfly Garden...

In my studio again...

and again!

We took several pictures of each project in the book..
each one styled differently so that we can have plenty to choose from.

I hope this wasn't too many photo's for you...
believe me when I say that there are plenty more:)
I'm hoping that you liked a peek at just some
of the projects being photographed for

So if you did and you want to see more...
just let me know and
I'll show you!!!

Until then...
Have a quilty kind of day...
xx

I made some of the design boards as gifts for quilting friends and discovered I had left my glue gun skills way back in elementary school, but did improve by the sixth one haha.
