Here are a few of my honeycomb blocks
 that I made for the sampler quilt.


In my book…(Quilty Fun)
I used this block in my "Calico Hive" quilt.


The honeycomb block is an
 easy peasy scrappy favorite of mine…
of course called a snowball traditionally.

I never get tired of making them…
they are a perfect way to 
use up some scrappy squares in your

  5. This has nothing to do with the wonderful sew along but I wanted to tell you my big news! After years of drooling over your Thanksgiving quilt, I've finally started one for myself...yes, as in actually started! I've picked my fabrics, cut out patterns...I'm on a roll!! With any luck at all I'll be wrapped in my new Lori/Thanksgiving quilt by November 1st, in time to read through Bon Appetit and decide on the T-day menu! Wish me luck?! xo, Nan
