Comforts of Home - finished!

Well, Monday is half over and I'm just now getting to my post for the day.... I hope everyone had a lovely Easter:)

I know it's normally "Vintage Monday" but I guess I'll have to switch it to Vintage Wednesday this week. I have been working on finishing this quilt and today is the day- YAY! It's finished. Here it is on the wall at Material Girls Quilts, where I am just finishing up the applique club.

The quilt will hang there for about a week, then I will ship it to Texas to United Notions/Moda.

They will take it with them to Spring Market where it will hang in thier booth.

I really enjoyed designing and making this quilt, from every block on through to the borders. It's really been a fun club and I have so enjoyed my students as always.

For those of you who are interested, I will be starting a new Applique Club at Material Girls. It will start in June. I havn't had a chance to make the first block for a sample yet because of this deadline, but it will soon be coming.

The new quilt will be my "Paper Doll" quilt that I have been going to teach for 3 years now, and I'm happy to announce that It's really going to happen! ( I have promised- for those of you who have been waiting for quite a while:)

I'll post some fun Vintagy things on Wednesday, until then- happy stitching!
