As you know, my flowers bring me so much pleasure...I hope this post will give you just a taste of why.
I love to plant for color and size and texture in a huge variety...just like my quilts! Yes, I definetly have a patchwork garden....that's the way I like it....very cottage.
Over the weekend we had a very nice rain and the flowers recieved a good drink.
As soon as the rain stopped, I took the opportunity to take some pictures to keep for the long winter months ahead......these are only some of them....enjoy.
Along with an abundance of flowers....I also have an abundance of weeds...but look how beautiful even this dandilion is close up....I want to give credit where credit is due.
I am constantly amazed at the beauty that our Father has created for us to enjoy on this earth...so breathtaking with every view, even down to the tiniest of blooms....thank you to the creator of all.
All so beautiful, even the dandelion! :)

I like how you ZOOMED right in on the centers of the flowers. Makes me want to try some close-ups of my Hydrangeas... I'm grateful to Heavenly Father for Flowers too, my DH does my gardening.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I love the raindrops on the flowers. The sweet pea flower are such a pretty color and even the dandelion is pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Looking at flowers close up makes us realize how fabulous a creator God is. How could we doubt. The other day I was thinking about the Christmas Story and how many countries and how many years this has stood the test of time. How could any other event in history be so amazingly upheld. We just have to step back to remind ourselves how simple it all is.
ReplyDeletebeautiful flowers........
ReplyDeleteGardening and quilting -- two of my favorites. I especially loved your Zinnias and that peachy hemerocalis (daylily).
