This is what....

......I did at the scrapbooking retreat. Added more pages to Kassidy and Sterlings books. Sorry about the glare in the photos, but I snapped them while in thier page protectors!

I get my supplies at Roberts, Micheals and Hobby Lobby. I also purchase online from Shyloh who has a fabulous website called "A Page 4 All Seasons"......scrapbooking supplies are very addictive so consider yourself warned!
This is what it looks like when you have 16 creative women in one room for a 4 day scrapping party.

What a fabulous mess! We all had such fun and accomplished lots.
Some scrappers have gone digital but I love the "hands on" effect.
I like the process and the different textures and elements that "homemade" allows. Besides, you can't have real glitter & bling on a digital page! LOL !
Don't get me wrong, technology certainly has it's place in the scrapbooking world...I'm just sayin, you should know me by now, I love all things "vintagy"!
We happily scrapped away while we listened to some great tunes and watched movies and LOTS of "Gilmore Girls"......I had a wonderful time and now my retreats are over......time to get back to business!

  1. It looks like you had a wonderful retreat and got so much done. For about 10 years I used to go to a scrapbook retreat almost every month with my girlfriends. Since moving to St.G I no longer scrapbook. Everyone else had really gotten into the digital books now, and I haven't learned the technology yet.

  2. Looks like alot of fun was had and some serious scrappin' was done. I tried to scrapbook once but just couldn't get the hang of it. I couldn't visualize a page and didn't really like some of the kits out then either. I think I will just stick with quilting.

  6. Beautiful pages....I haven't scrapbooked in 4 years! I was all caught up too. Quilting and sewing has taken up my spare time. My poor photos are in limbo.

  7. Beautiful scrapbooks! I never quite got into the scrapbooking but have always admired the work people put into them.

  8. Looks like a lot of fun for sure. I'm not sure which is "messier" quilting fabrics or paper, but they bot must be pretty close in making messes.
    I like what you did!
