My BFF Nanette...

...came to the American Quilting retreat this week and did a trunk show.
Her quilts are so fun! Scrappy and Vintage style...what could be better?
I thought I'd show you what I saw through my camera....

Nanette is just as fun and cute as her quilts are! Did you notice the adorable apron she is wearing? Nanette also has the the most fabulous blog...go check it out... here.
I will have more trunk show and retreat pictures to come later on in the week.
I really had a great time at the retreat and now I'm attempting to get back to my regular routine...it's sooooo hard!
I always want to stay "just one extra day"....although I do have to admit that I am always glad to get home to Mr. Honey and the kids.
Dorothy was right....."there's no place like HOME".

  4. I'm so glad you are showing pictures of your retreat, since I couldn't go. I still think you and Nanette need to design together. Imagine what you would come up with with both of your creative brains working together! Nanette did the same trunk show last year at Bryce and I was in AWE!!

  8. Lori, thanks for sharing the pictures of Nanette's quilts. Even though I was at the retreat I missed seeing her trunk show because I thought it was an hour later and I ran off next door to the antique store... shame on me!!!
I love all of Nanette's quilts and designs. She is a very sweet and talented gal! I feel blessed to know her.
I bet Mr Honey was happy to have his little "Queen Bee" home!

  10. Aw, blushing. Thanks Lori. You're everything a BFF could want! I finished my little bag/purse. When I got to one side the holes were exposed int he metal - meaning that the metal wasn't around the one side of the holes. So I got my glue out and glued it there and it worked. I struggled so much with that thread. But I got the hang of it thanks to you.

Thanks for the plug and showing my quilts. You're sweet.
