Friendship...

I feel so lucky to have met so many wonderful friends through blogging. One of them is Jodi from Pleasant Home.

We have really got to know each other well through emailing and texting back and forth and have become really good friends.

Yes...Jodi and I love our internet.

We thought it would be a blast to meet up in real life and take a little road trip together.
Here is Mr. Honey and Mr. Pleasant helping to load up all of our quilting supplies that we're taking with us...

The perfect opportunity presented itself when I was invited to teach a workshop in sunny Saint George, Utah.
Our other friend Nedra lives there and she invited us to come and stay with her. We also met Nedra through blogging!

We are so excited! We have been planning and planning for weeks now and the day is finally here:) It's going to be a 5 day long slumber/quilting party at Nedra's wonderful home/sewing room!

This morning Jodi will be flying into Utah and I will pick her up from the airport where we will begin our 5 hour drive together....we will have lots of time to visit and to hear what each others voices really sound like!

I will be teaching a 2 day workshop at Quilted Works and Jodi is taking the class....we thought it would be so much fun if we took the roadtrip together!
We will be making all kinds of fun projects while on our trip...

I'll be sooo sad when it comes to an end....

And we have to get back to reality!
