Good morning cute people!
I'm so excited to introduce you to the last of my
Vintage Happy patterns that I have
been preparing for Spring Quilt Market:)
My latest pattern is called
Four little quilts to hang in your sewing room…
or to sew for all of your quilty friends:)
Another fun announcement is that
I will be hosting a new Sew Along here
for the summer starting in June!
YaY!
We will be sewing the
block in the photo above.
I designed this block
for
a quilt along 1 1/2 years ago
and the even did a YouTube
segment about it.
I have been so busy with
my other sew alongs since then…
but now it's time because the
GGSquared Sew Along
is coming to a close soon.
The block as well as the
sew along is called
“Scrappy Happy”
I decided that this would be
the perfect pattern to include
the block pattern in
and we will be using it
as a manual for the sew along.
I'm going to be making a quilt with
the Scrappy Happy block as well as
some other projects…
but with each project the
block will be
a different size and setting!
YaY again!
(Cutting instructions for the
different sized Scrappy Happy blocks
used in the sew along are included
in the pattern)
We will be using all different sizes of scrappy squares and a few rectangles:)
If you want to play with
my newest pattern
Cut.Press.Sew.Quilt.
it's available for purchase
Have a quilty kind of day!!!
xx
Lori
sooo cute Lori!! Will be perfect hanging in a sewing room :-)
ReplyDeleteI have never done a sew along but love your block so I am going to follow along. Aren't you proud of me. I have so much scraps that this will be perfect. Now all I have to do is stay with it, kinds sounds like my diet.
ReplyDeleteOh Lori - I'm soooo glad the fun isn't going to stop. I'm really looking forward to hanging these lovely mini's on my wall and can't wait to join into the next sew along.
ReplyDeleteLove love love these blocks!!!! I was just telling my BFF I needed to stay working on smaller projects and this would be perfect. I'm a beginning quilter and I'm finishing up my first quilting project of any kind. It just happens to be a king size disappearing 9 patch. I figured go big or go home. I Have both of your books and can't wait to do some of those projects as well.
ReplyDeleteLove love love these blocks!!!! I just told my bff that I need to work on some smaller projects. I'm a beginner quilter and my first thing I'm going to complete is a king size disappearing 9 patch

ReplyDeleteThank you for having a sew along in the summer when teacher/moms like me can join in! Lots of quilty places lighten up in the summer and that is when I get to be full speed ahead!
