The Prim Sew Simple Shapes
that you will need for block seven:
1 - K2
1 - K3
1 - K4
1 - K6
3 - K7
2 - K11
1 - K14
1 - K15
1 - K19
1 - K20
1 - K44
1 - K45
1 - K48
4 - K51
2 - K61
2 - K62
Don't forget to trace the
roof reversed (K-4)
You will need two curved
stem pieces for the flowers.
Cut them 9" and 3"
Also cut two bird legs 1 1/2" long.
Sew the beak print to the
bird body print before you
sew the bird shape.
Press the seams open for less bulk:)
After sewing and trimming ...
and before you can turn right side out
you will need to clip the inner curves
in the flowers and the bird
and the cleavage in the
church and the star.
Turn...shaope and press your appliqués:)
Now pin baste them to your
large design board before
glueing them down with the Sue Glue.
Remember that your 16 1/2" Trim -It Ruler is essential when laying out your block.
Keep all pieces inside the window:)
Here is my block after appliqué
and before pressing from the back...
After trimming...
FAITH and ENDURANCE
should measure 16 1/2" square
before you sew it into your quilt:)
Thanks sew much for joining me this week...
I'll meet you right back here
next week for Block Eight!
xx
