Bake Sale is Here...I'm on the Tube...and a Giveaway!!!

Good morning cute people!
I have a few things to share with you:)
First off...
is here.
YaY!
It is now being shipped to quilt shops everywhere:)

As you know...
I've been sewing the hours away
getting ready for Quilt Market.

I made this Bake Sale banner to hang over
my section of the Riley Blake booth:)
I used my large
for the template.
I think it turned out pretty darn cute and
it would be fun to hang for a real bake sale!
But for now...
it's hanging in my cottage kitchen window
until it goes to visit Portland:)

Up next I want to tell you about a new solids bundle over at

Yep!!
That's my name on there.
You can now get a
of the solids that coordinate with
all of my fabric collections so far.

They are the solids that
 I use in my patterns.
I hope you enjoy them...
they are my happy colors!

Next up...
I'm on the tube.
YouTube that is...on the

When Kimberly called and asked me if
I would be willing to film in my studio for the
Fat Quarter Shop...
Lots of segments...
over several days...
I was surprised because I'm really not a
 "in front of the camera"
type of person.
But after a little arm twisting...(ow)
I said...
Heck yes!...come on over:)

So far they have released 8 of my segments.
They include several tutorials,
 a tour of my studio,
my ruler cutting instructions...etc.

to visit me on the tube in my studio:)
Leave me a comment here about the videos
and tell me which is your favorite...
or your favorite part...

Because then you will be
 entered in our giveaway!!!

Kimberly will be giving away a
fat quarter bundle to someone leaving a comment
about the videos here on this post...

And I will be giving away a
7" Stacker, a 5" Stacker and a Bitty Stacker (3 1/2")  of Bake Sale
to someone leaving a comment here about the videos as well.

These cute little stacker squares are hot off the press!
If you want some to play with...
leave me some bloggy love:)

As usual...
my stunt double Kassidy Grace will draw a name
from the comments for the winner.

She will draw Tuesday morning May 7th) before she
heads out to school and then I will announce the winner that day.

After you have left your comment here...
Go over and visit Kimberly at the
for another chance to win!

Have a quilty kind of day my friends:)
xx

My absolute fave is the video on your sewing room. I love to peek into other gals' sewing rooms for inspiration. The unique way in which you use your vintage finds is not only wonderful, it's ingenuous. How awesome it must be to be able to go shopping in tour own studio for fabric to make your next project.

Love your decorating and I can just tell that you were "into vintage when vintage wasn't cool".

Can I come play in your stash? *wink*

Lori ~ I absolutely LOVED the videos because we got to see so much more around your home and studio. I even sent the one showing your kitchen and a few others to my husband telling him I MUST start focusing more on your fabrics because I have always loved the colors and how well all your collections work well with each other. And then I told him we need to find a bench like that and table too. I reminded him my kitchen if fugly. LOL I hate my kitchen and have planned to remodel it over 8 yrs ago. We even have the black and white flooring already and have had that for over 5 yrs.

oops. sorry, got sidetracked a bit. Anyway, I was very happy to have seen you make your design boards. I realize you posted instructions before on your blog, but it was still great to see them 'in person' so to speak as you showed how to make one. And what a great idea (which I also showed my husband) to use a cutting board underneath your hot glue gun. Genious.

I love the solid colors! And the Bake Sale! I can't wait to make some aprons with the Bake Sale line. I loved all of your tutorials but my favorite is the tour of your studio. I love visiting your craft studio, it is so organized and what inspiration! I love the way that you actually use your vintage pieces instead of just displaying them. Thank you "sew" much for such wonderful inspiration. Also wanted you to know that I am loving every minute of working on my Paper Doll quilt, I am a little slow but I love it! Have a great night, Holly

I personally would love to take one of your classes, but since I'm in Canada, I have been scouring the web looking at your techniques to incorporate into my own sewing. Today I stumbled on your videos and it was awesome. Thank you so much!

I loved watching the videos! The studio tour & interview videos were my favorites. I liked seeing all of your tools too. I love Best Press too. It doesn't gunk up my iron or stick the way regular Niagra starch does.

I really liked the jars full of goodies with the lids in your trademark colors and little pull knobs on the top. I really like that idea!!! I could go on and on with your clever tips.....

I actually would have been the very first one to leave a comment! I opened my email and discovered there was a new posting on my favorite blog, so I buzzed on over to read it! I noticed that mo comments had been left! I would be the first! But... I got so involved in watching your videos Lori that I watched several over and thought about them and now I am like #356! Oh well. I really enjoyed your studio tour, but I also really liked hearing you explain the reason behind the barn block. I love the tutorials and so I think that was my fav! Keep them coming!

I wondered about all those irons in your studio! I love how you use all the vintage things you collect. I have spent several Saturday mornings at yard sales hoping to find a pew like you have:)

Aurifil thread is the best! I'd love to see a box of your thread from Aurifil, too, Alex:)

Your new line of fabric is beautiful...the green floral is my favorite (and all the baking dish colors too).
