I made this Bake Sale banner to hang over
my section of the Riley Blake booth:)
I used my large

I think it turned out pretty darn cute and
it would be fun to hang for a real bake sale!

YouTube that is...on the
When Kimberly called and asked me if
I would be willing to film in my studio for the
Fat Quarter Shop...
Lots of segments...
over several days...
I was surprised because I'm really not a
"in front of the camera"
type of person.
But after a little arm twisting...(ow)
I said...
Heck yes!...come on over:)
So far they have released 8 of my segments.
They include several tutorials,
a tour of my studio,
my ruler cutting instructions...etc.
to visit me on the tube in my studio:)
Leave me a comment here about the videos
and tell me which is your favorite...
or your favorite part...
Because then you will be

fat quarter bundle to someone leaving a comment
about the videos here on this post...
And I will be giving away a

These cute little stacker squares are hot off the press!
If you want some to play with...
leave me some bloggy love:)

My absolute fave is the video on your sewing room. I love to peek into other gals' sewing rooms for inspiration. The unique way in which you use your vintage finds is not only wonderful, it's ingenuous. How awesome it must be to be able to go shopping in tour own studio for fabric to make your next project.
Love your decorating and I can just tell that you were "into vintage when vintage wasn't cool".
Can I come play in your stash? *wink*
Love the videos! You are so creative for using muffin pans to help keep organized! I have so many rusty ones, that this summer, I'm going to break out the teal and red spray paint and spray away! I absolutely adore your blog! Your fabric speaks to me "make me into a quilt to snuggle around your loved ones" Awe......LOVE! I am also an committed Pinterest follower! Just keep pinning.... Just keep pinning....~ Becca

I have to have all your wonderful rulers, they just simplify things so much.
Thanks for the chance to win and keep creating :)
I found your blog about a couple of years ago and it is one of my favorite places to visit. Your videos are equally inspiring. I recently remodeled my kitchen and your fabric, Sew Cherry, is everywhere: curtains, tablecloth, runners. We even took out the louvers in my pantry door and used your fabric to make a very vintagey look....my husband's idea! I just love your style and now I feel I know you so much better through your videos. Thank you so much!

Love, love, love your fabric and tutorials. You are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
My impression after watching the video's is that you are one fantastic teacher and one talented lady. You need to be in front of the camera more and keep making tutorials. I do not have access to a good quilt shop in order to take lessons but after watching the video's I am feeling--- "oh, I could do that". I have ordered from the Fat Quarter Shop and what a wonderful partnership you have formed with them.
I just watched all the videos and I enjoyed learning how to use the rulers. I must get some now! And I loved your studio tour. Your collection of vintage sewing machines on the shelf is amazing. Hi Lori,
I have always been scared to put together a hexie quilt, I've stayed away from that pattern, but after seeing your How to use Lori Holt's Hexie Rulers, I am soooo excited about putting together a classic grandmother's quilt... and a "bake sale" for my grand daughters, a modern wall hanging for my daughter... oh it's going to get crazy here.

Lori, What a great studio you have made. Love Bake Sale! Enjoyed the circle ruler video.
I always am interested in seeing how sewing rooms are organized and I love gadgets and tools.I liked your rulers. I think I remember the design board idea but I'd forgotten what a great idea it is and so handy. I need to get moving on it. Thanks.
Lori ~ I absolutely LOVED the videos because we got to see so much more around your home and studio. I even sent the one showing your kitchen and a few others to my husband telling him I MUST start focusing more on your fabrics because I have always loved the colors and how well all your collections work well with each other. And then I told him we need to find a bench like that and table too. I reminded him my kitchen if fugly. LOL I hate my kitchen and have planned to remodel it over 8 yrs ago. We even have the black and white flooring already and have had that for over 5 yrs.
oops. sorry, got sidetracked a bit. Anyway, I was very happy to have seen you make your design boards. I realize you posted instructions before on your blog, but it was still great to see them 'in person' so to speak as you showed how to make one. And what a great idea (which I also showed my husband) to use a cutting board underneath your hot glue gun. Genious.
Good evening! this is Victoria, from Valencia (Spain) and one of your blog followers. I love the cheerful colors of the fabrics you use for your quilts. My favourite the one you had with butterflies, I love it. My favourite video is the one about sewing hexies, I love hexies and I'm trying to learn how to sew it correctly. Thanks for your giveaway. Love!

I watched 3 of the segments and enjoyed them. I especially enjoyed seeing your sewing space at this time because we are moving to another house in another state the end of this month and will be setting up a new and hopefully better sewing room in my new house. By the way, I agree when you describe your fabric as "happy fabric." It certainly is!

Thank you "sew" much for such wonderful inspiration. Also wanted you to know that I am loving every minute of working on my Paper Doll quilt, I am a little slow but I love it! Have a great night, Holly
I personally would love to take one of your classes, but since I'm in Canada, I have been scouring the web looking at your techniques to incorporate into my own sewing. Today I stumbled on your videos and it was awesome. Thank you so much!
I loved watching the videos! The studio tour & interview videos were my favorites. I liked seeing all of your tools too. I love Best Press too. It doesn't gunk up my iron or stick the way regular Niagra starch does.
My sister and I have been waiting for your new fabric to be available for a long time.
It it so happy to use them.
I love the hexie half ruler tutorial. Hopefully, if I get one, they'll speed up the process of hexie making.
I loved all of the videos. I really liked the technique of sewing the non fusible pellon to the fabric, turning it inside out and then machine appliquéing it. I loved the tour of your studio!!! I really liked the jars full of goodies with the lids in your trademark colors and little pull knobs on the top. I really like that idea!!! I could go on and on with your clever tips.....

I actually would have been the very first one to leave a comment! I opened my email and discovered there was a new posting on my favorite blog, so I buzzed on over to read it! I noticed that mo comments had been left! I would be the first! But... I got so involved in watching your videos Lori that I watched several over and thought about them and now I am like #356! Oh well. I really enjoyed your studio tour, but I also really liked hearing you explain the reason behind the barn block. I love the tutorials and so I think that was my fav! Keep them coming!

I wondered about all those irons in your studio! I love how you use all the vintage things you collect. I have spent several Saturday mornings at yard sales hoping to find a pew like you have:)

Thanks so much for letting us in to your studio! I loved seeing your creativity at home. The half circle tutorial was tops. However, my favorite part was from the interview done with you . I loved that your next line was a collaboration with your daughter inspired by her bedroom redo.
congratulazioni x il tuo debutto you tube video....
i saw your video on hexie half rulers, which, coincidentally, reminded me of the post i received from amy at nanacompany showing the darling, adorable quilt she made livi, her daughter, using your ruler ... OMGosh, i sure need one o these; the techniques are so easy with this ruler and i'm sure the rest of them are no different ... thank you, lori holt for a great product .... darlene
I want your half hexie ruler. Such a great idea. Your sewing room is adorable and I love your design boards. I made them last fall and showed them off at a quilt retreat.

Loved all the videos. I liked seeing your favorite notions...I need some Gingher scissors now :)
i was intrigued by lori's fav quilting and sewing notions --great ideas, so then i really enjoyed watching her put the jump rope quilt together with her thimble rulers. learned so much! being able to see her actually sew up the maple leaf block was really helpful, that's my next project. thank you for the opportunity! Yikes, she uses no pins!!
Love your happy colors, I think you are a happy person as well. I am really interested in the design trays that you were using on the videos and will look them up on your blog.
