Strawberry Crush Sew Along - The Big Finish!!

Hello quilty friends!
Thanks for joining me for the
 Strawberry Crush Sew Along
BIG FINISH!

We are making the
STRAWBERRY CRUSH QUILT
66" x 73"

We are using my
 latest fabric collection
BERRY and SAGE
to make our quilt!

If you would like to see everything
about this collection including
all of the new patterns and notions,
to view the storyboard!

The sew along began on
May 18th, 2026
and you are invited!

to read my "Bee Prepared" post
that tells you what you need to know
about this sew along and making
the Strawberry Crush Quilt.

The sew along will take place
here on my blog,
 and also on my
for week one.

I have done the week one video
so please
to watch it!
to read the week one blog post:)

If you don't have your kit yet
just do a quick google search of
Strawberry Crush Quilt Kit
and hopefully you will
still be able to find one.

If you purchase the kit in the box,
the sew along guide and Sew Simple Shapes
 are included in the box.

If you are purchasing the fabric kit only
to download the free sew along guide
 because you will need it!

You can also purchase the
Sew Simple Shape set seperately
if you purchased yardage and not the kit.

Last week for week two I showed you
my machine applique on the block that
we did together in week one video.
I also showed you how to trim
your blocks and add easy corner triangles.

to read that blog post:)

So this last week,
I worked/played on getting the
remaining 11 blocks ready for applique!!

Oh my goodness!!
I loved making these sweet blocks:)

After applique they are ready to be
paired up with thier background rectangles
  for the final appliqueing
of the scallop ovals:)

As per usual,
you will find all of that information
in the sew along guide...

Along with all of the
cutting for sashing and cornerstones...

And all of the instructions for finishing
up your quilt top for quilting:)

I have my binding all cut and ready to
 sew together, press and wrap
onto one of these Bee Binding Holders:)

I also have my
Alpine Large Vintage Trim ready to go...

And my quilt top is
put together and ready for quilting!!!

I love natural light so I took it out
on my patio to snap a few pics for you.

As soon as I get it back from the quilter
I will take lots more pics
and add them to this post:)

Thank you very much
from the bottom of my heart
(with a strawberry on top)
for sewing the
 Strawberry Crush Quilt with me!

It's been sew much fun
and there is more sewing fun
coming up for my next sew along
in September...

We will be sewing the
Thanksgiving at Grandma's Quilt
with my next fabric collection
called Baked With Love
which comes in July
and you are invited to join me again:)

I'll meet you right back here in
August for the Bee Prepared post
when I'll tell you all
about it and provide you for the link
to the free sew along guide.

Until then...
have a Quilty kind of day:)
