Gosh your Row Along looks fantastic! Wish I had had time to join in, but I didn't (it is on my to do list, but I have to finish a few UFOs first!) My favorite thing was seeing how all the different fabric choices still looked great. Love your little bee on the back too, and the border you did--really finishes it off nicely!

It's Me!The Latecomer! I've so fallen in love with the Row Along Quilt and Little Bumble who lives on the back, but I'm also impressed that in reading the tutorials, they are geared to teach new quilters. I have an adorable co-worker who often asks about quilting and this youthful design is perfect for our giggle girl!
I could not only benefit from adding some "Happy" prints to my stash which is seriously lacking, but also share them...if only as a lesson in color & print selection.
I'm especially in love with the Crazy Quilt Stitch Stripes & I love fabric that you can read! Literally!

This is such a fun quilt. I've loved it all, but I think my favorite were the apples and leaves. You are so creative. Thanks for the chance.

All the rows are cute - I think my very favorite is the spools. And then I just love the way the gingham border looks!

my quilt group friend has been saying to me all along - as i've made each row - "i could never do that. the pieces are so tiny. it looks too hard. i'm not patient enough!"
she took one look at your finished quilt and asked me when i could go shopping with her to help choose fabrics.
she said, "there's no reason i can't make one row per week this summer!"
so . . . yay!
{she'll probably finish hers before i finish mine!}
the whole thing is completely lovely and i am in awe a} of your talent in thinking this quilt up, executing your plan, and {bonus} designing your own fabric; and, b} your willingness to share with all of us!
thanks!
and i WILL finish this quilt!

I found the row along just a couple of months ago but have not been able to start it yet. I have followed you since then and hope to use this pattern soon. I love the designs - they just seem so "homey". Your fabrics enhance the designs. I think my favorite row is the coffee mugs. I also love the outer border with the scallops!

I enjoyed seeing what the block would be for the week, and your tutorials were great. Thanks

I found your sew along several weeks ago and have been following since. I am very new to quilting and aspire to be able to make this someday. I love the fabric choices. It is hard to pick my favorite row as I like all of them. I think my favorite part is the label on the back of the quilt. Thank you for the chance at your giveaway.

I came late to the party the first of march but I am having a blast.... I am making the whole thing from my scraps stash and a bolt of white muslim...Working on the tulips now and thinking how I want to quilt it

I have not started my own row along quilt yet, but I have loved seeing yours progress. I came in towards the end when I was googling how to bind a quilt and was directed to one of your tutorials. I learned so many helpful things from your tutorials! I also learned about the Angler 2, which I have now ordered. The three things I like the MOST about your Row Along quilt are: the beautiful bright fabrics, the mittens row and finally, at the other end, the tulips row!
Thank you so much for all of your blog!

I have loved your quilt-a-long, and have added this to my list of projects to start! I hope to pull out my fat quarters this weekend and select my basic colors and see what I need to add. I particularly loved the apples!

I have been following you along on this quilt row along, but didn't make the quilt. I really wanted to, but didn't have the time. My goal is definitely to still do it sometime. I have it pinned. I love your colors, fabrics, and I love the many different rows of lovely shapes and objects. Such a gorgeous quilt! I love your fabrics and I sent you that picture of my kitchen patchwork curtain.

I have learned so much while making this row along. Thank you for all your great tutorials! Things I have learned: steam distorts cotton, press(not iron),how to measure long pieces on short cutting board, how to fit sashing rows, how important accurate cutting and seams are, how fun it is to be creative. And most important "I am the boss of my own quilt". Thank you soooo much...looking forward to other great projects with you...

I loved the mittens best, but the most fun was to see how different the rows looked as they were posted on Flickr. I wish I had used a different background fabric, as that seemed to make such a difference. A great learning experience.

I can never just pick one "favorite" about anything, but I've narrowed it down to two. I loved the row of flying geese. And the pieced scalloped border is amazing. Love it!

Thanks for the chance to win some Polka-Dot Stitches. I'm SO crossing my fingers.

It's so hard to pick what I like the best ... maybe the tulips and the houses, but then there is so much more to like, or LOVE! I LOVED how you made each tutorial seem "do-able", that I could attempt each step and come out with a beautiful quilt! Thanks so much!

My favorite part of the Row Along--which I watched, as I finished up some WIPs--was the cheeriness of each design. Seeing each row made me smile, which is not a small thing. Thank you for bringing so much sunshine to the world.

I didn't make the quilt, but I've been watching yours and others grow. I love the colors and each of the rows are so unique. I love the apple with bites taken from it. I may do this one sometime.

The best thing that I can say is that usually I don't like to work from patterns or copy, BUT your designs are so whimsical and thoughtful and inspriing that this is the first time (quilting since the 80's) that I want to rush out and buy all your fabrics. I even hand copied the instructions for this beautiful quilt as I don't have a copier. Lots of work but so worth it! Thankyou for clear instructions, cheerful colors and a great anticipation following along. I hope you go on to add some whimsy to your barn along which I truly love. Thankyou! Butterfly George

How you did all of the math for each block is beyond understanding for me! You are amazing! And I think it was very generous of you to post these tutorials for free. Seriously I am very thankful! It was such great practice for me working with all of those itty bitty pieces and eventually becoming super accurate with my points! Thanks Lori! You rock!

I loved following along. I didn't jump into making one as I already had a few too many projects going. I have decided, however, that this will be my summer sewing project and that I am going to wait for your new Bake Shop fabric line for my quilt plus bits and pieces of other of your fabrics I have on my shelves. Three fat quarters of Polka Dot Stitches would certainly had to my fun.

Thank you for sharing this project. You are so generous with your time and multi-talents!

My favorite part was the time I got to spend sewing each row. The past 6-8 months have brougt some serious challenges in my life and sewing each block and row was definitely "Calgon...take me away" time. It's been a wonderful distraction. Now I have an adorable quilt that was made from leftover fabric of another quilt that I made last summer and lots of pieces from my stash bins too....love it when I can do that!! Thank you very much!

I'm not really into Barns but I will be making the cute quilt squares that are in each barn. I'll make a few of each and then have enough for another quilt....mostly made of scraps from my bins....YAY!!!!!

Thank you again! Happy sewing everyone!

Hi Lori,
I'm finishing up my last row--the tulips and then need to put my rows together and do my borders. I have SO ENJOYED this row a-long. I've never done a mystery quilt and never done a "row quilt" so this was a first for me in both of those areas. I love the bright happy colors that you chose to do this in (I did too.) My mother came down yesterday and saw it on the floor all laid out and just had a fit! She said that it was her all-time favorite quilt! (She is not a quilt-maker.) Every 2 weeks, I waited eagerly to see what our rows would be this time and would start right away so I wouldn't get behind. Obviously, I am a bit behind now--we had a death in the family and were out of town for the funeral so I'm just getting back to normal. Thank you so much for such a fun quilt along!! I love your fabrics and your patterns and you are so generous to share them with us!

I love doing a row rather than blocks for a change. It made me try new patterns and the timing every 2 weeks gave me plenty of time to keep up when things got busy. I am behind now, but hope to finish next week over the long Easter weekend. Thanks for hosting such a fun event.

If I can ever decide which fabric to use, I'll be making one too!

Thanks so much for putting this together!!

I loved everything about this row along but if I had to single out one thing, I love how you made each row out of fun objects! I fell off after the first few rows but I'm determined to finish this fun quilt sometime this year. Thanks for a fun row along!

If I could pull colors together and make them work magic like you do, I would have mine done by now. So, perhaps coordinating bundles of fabric would help me along?? Oh, Kassidy! I will be your newest, bestest friend if you pull my name. Pleease???

I am just finishing the updating of my kitchen so I couldn't "row along" when you started. I love your finished quilt and hope to make a smaller version to hang in my kitchen. It will add a lot of color and fun.

My favorite thing about this row along were the tutorials for each row. I also enjoyed seeing the rows made by the ladies at Fat Quarter Shop with different fabrics/colors.

I just started this blog-mania a month ago! But everyday I look for the bonnet to start my day. Your creations are fabulous! And I plan to make this quilt when I get the necessary fabrics! I've purchased the circle rulers and can't wait to show you what I'm working on.

It's been such a delight to see your quilt come together. Although I have not taken part because of time constraints (daughter getting married and I'm working on a "wedding"quilt) I have bookmarked each installment and hope to start when the wedding is over in May!!

First I am a scrapaholic. So I love quilt patterns like this, I love the mystery, the cliff hanging thrill waiting to see whats next. The pattern is easy to follow. I am working on one currently trying to use all scrap including the background.
I deal with depression and this is the one thing I can look forward to with a lot of excitement, within no time I perk up and the fabric starts flying!

I think my favorite thing about your row along is all the fun blocks you made with simple piecing! And the rows are just so darn cute. I love all your work, and I was so happy to do this quilt! My favorite tip/help I got from you (long ago) was the little blocks flannel boards. Boy do I love the ones I made for me. Those have to be my all time favorite tip/help I've picked up online from anywhere. How did I ever live without them!

My favorite thing about the Row Along was that the post for each new row was like opening a present. Each one was prettier than the last. My two favorite rows are the apples and the houses.

I think the best parts of the row along were that you made it look so easy. Directions and pictures really help. What looked like it would be difficult, wasn't. I also liked that you did it slowly, so you could catch up and not hurry.

I just love the way to completed the rows and the fabrics are my favorite!

I have followed this every week. Have decided I really want to do it but there are so many great Riley Blake Fabrics I can't decide which ones I want to try. Unfortunately there are no quilting stores that carry these fabrics nearby to check them out in person. I'm hoping to win some fat quarters here to get started. Thanks so much for sharing!
