Sophie Belle's Piggy Tales...

Do you remember when my cutie patootie grandaughter Sophie Belle was born?

She was a preemie and weighed only 4 lbs 10 oz...but was thankfully very healthy...just early.

She was about 5 minutes old in the above photo....I was right there to snap her first picture.

That was a year ago and now she is 1 and on the move!
She is walking everywhere...it seems like such a short time ago that she and I posed for our first photo shoot together....

...she was 2 weeks old and smiled for the camera but forgot to open her eyes!...lol

Now she wears piggy tales!...well..... sort of.
I put them in while Sterling holds her and she wonders what the heck is on the back of her head...she reaches back there and then takes them out!

...but not before grandma takes her picture!

Oh Lori, what a beauty! Aren't you just so IN LOVE? My kids never had any hair at birth, and didn't for the longest time. I never attempted pig tails. My youngest daughter had hair that went every which way, and we gave her the Indian name of "lightning hair".

Who doesn't adore piggy tails? I'd wear them if I didn't look silly. lol. Sophie Belle happens to look adorable with piggy tails. Have a great time next week. I am soooo sad that I won't be part of the fun. I will have to live vicariously through you, Nanette, Rae Ann, and Nedra's blog. Have lots of fun for me.

Hi Lori! Where has the last year gone? I REALLY can't believe Sophie is a year old, wow. My little Brookie is 4 months - that is equally hard for me to believe! Sophie is such a cutie pie - I want to nibble on those cheeks!
