I have 5 lilac bushes in my backyard and I have a direct view of them outside of my studio window. My bedroom is above my studio so I also have a lovely view of them from there.
I like to sleep with my window open at night and in the spring and summer, the scent of lilacs and then roses are what I imagine that heaven must smell like. I impatiently await every spring for the lilacs to bloom. Thats always the start of gardening season for me.
A couple of weeks ago I snapped some pictures of a few of my tulips right after it rained and was overcast. Thats when I love to photograph my garden. The colors are so vibrant and I love to see the water droplets on the flowers.

Lovely flowers!
Your flowers and yard are absolutely gorgeous! The 100 plus degree weather has already taken its toll around here...brown spots starting to appear in many lawns and the roses not as beautiful! Oh well...I'll have to enjoy photos of lovely yards until September when things get back to normal temps around here!
Oh, I miss the smell of lilacs in the spring!
I can almost smell those lilacs! They look so lovely in that yellow vase. Two of life's joys - flowers and quilts!! Carol
MAN I wish I had smell-o-vision on my computer!!!! Those lilacs are heavenly! Tulips are my favorite flower - none grow here in the heart of blackthumb zone, but yours are breathtaking!

You have the garden I would love to have: tulips and lilacs! Thanks for sharing the gorgeous flowers.

Sheesh! is there anything you don't do, and do it well! I am glad your not my neighbor, I would feel guilty stealing your flowers in the dark.

PS. I took pic's of my bike but it was kind of dark, so I'll post tomorrow!
Very pretty! I still miss Grandma's lilac bush. The smell of lilacs is one of my all time favorite scents.
Your garden is gorgeous. I love lilacs too, and peonies. I have hybicus here, red ones. Your tulips are so beautiful. The white ones are very unusual. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing.
