Place them in a buttered dish....and preheat your oven to 350*... Use a pastry blender and mix together... 1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 nutmeg
and 1/2 cup softened butter.
Arrange mixture over the top of sliced apples...and bake 1/2 hour or until apples are tender.
Serve warm ....with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. The sweet taste of fall abundance.
Yummylicious:)

O YUM! We are going to a local apple festival this weekend. I'll be making this when we get back! Thanks for the easy and yummy looking recipe!

I like that you don't have to peel your apples for this crisp. I'll have to try that!
This looks like a good Sunday dessert. I have both apples and peaches (peaches in fridge) so either would work. Mr. Hive loves apples best so that is probably what I'll make.
Oh heavenly! I need to book mark this recipe for sure. :o)
I do not have the colors you were looking for in beads. Thanks for your patience. Is that another color that you prefer? I also have a couple different ideas in my etsy shop.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely - Trish :o)
Super yummo! Thanks for the recipe. Karmen
I love apples, they are my favorite fruit! I am going to try these!
I love apple crisp and I too like how you didn't have to peel the apples...YUM!!!
Oh yes YUM...YUM! This is just how I do mine...only I microwave mine and believe it or not the top melts together and crisps up kind of crunchy like you just cooked it in the oven!
I LOVE this soooo easy recipe!!!
We just had a blizzard move through but all I care about is some apple crisp! This recipe rocks! We've made it several times. Between this recipe and the great retro music, we'll keep coming back.
God bless and have a Merry Christmas,
