Vintage Monday - Pink Stove!

I thought I would show you the newest addition to my studio...a pink Wolverine toy stove!
You already know that I have a red & white one in my kitchen...

...and now I have a pink one to play with in my studio.
I found my new/old toy last week in a little antique shop in the very corner on a shelf.
I couldn't believe that someone hadn't snatched it up before me!
The price was suprisingly very low and it's in really good shape and is the perfect pink!

Sew....you wanna see what I've got cookin' on the cute little red burners?

I've got a saucepan full of buttons boiling over...whoops!

Thread....old and new on the warmer...

A "Pumpkin Tart" pincushion fresh from the oven...

And a yummy sweet stack of fabric...

Wanna come to my house for lunch?....I've got teeny tiny dishes we could use!
No.
I havn't grown up yet.
Yes.
I still play with toys:)

Ok, I wish I could honestly say LORI I am surprised that you have a wee pink stove...NOT at all..lol But what I am puzzled over is where or where do you find places for everything....lol
Ok, Nanette took photos...I did not see this stove lol...
I am a minimalist sew I guess I wonder how I would keep everything sew tidy.lol.

I'll be right over, because yes, I want to play. I recognized those cute feather pins.
(Actually I hope we have time to connect when I come into town for Thanksgiving.)

How cute! How many little ovens do you have now? Just the two?

I LOVE your pink stove! Last year I found the entire set! Stove, refrigerator and dishwasher at the antique mall for $25.00 for the set!!! You can bet they came home with me!

Yes please, I want to come and play and I'll bring my Barbies and some treats for us, too! So, so cute...I'm going "hunting" today - maybe I'll find the pink stove's sister!?! Actually, I'm in search of pilgrims - old ones...Wish me luck! xo, Nan PS: I spent an hour last night cutting out 50 sets of circles to make your paper flowers - I'm so, so happy you posted those!

Oh I want to play so bad I'll do the dishes after our party!
Lori, you never stop inspiring me! I saw this pink stove and it took my breath away. Ok, it's a cute little stove but it became adorable because it was PINK! I can't wait to rush home today and go to the top shelf in my closet. Because there I have my stove from when I was a little girl. I had a Suzie Homemaker stove. It's blue, not pink. My daugher played with it when she will little and I still have it so, until I get a granddaughter, I'll just keep on playing with it. I'm moving it to my craft room tonite! Does anyone remember those stoves? I got it in the early 60's and mine still works! I've already decided I will never grow up!
Luv you Lori! You da bomb!

I'll be happy with a pumpkin tart pincushion. PLEASE tell me how I can make my own and I'll love you forever. I have a long list of people who could get these for Christmas this year (although I might make yellow ones and call them lemon tarts).
Pretty please?

I can't believe you found that. I have one in much worse shape that is exactly like the one I grew up with. I bought it a long time ago. The funny thing is that the oven door does the same thing mine did. I love my little stove. We are twins now with pink stoves! You photographed this so cute too.

I LOVE your pink stove. I am insanely jealous. Actually, I'm not sure if it's the pink stove or the fact that you ALWAYS find such great stuff!
Cheers,
Dionne

Jut came across your blog looking up pink toy kitchens. I just scored a sink and stove, already had a fridge and a wringer washer in my laundry room. I also have a red and white stove in my kitchen. You are a girl after my own heart! Now I will be moving all my pink kitchen goodies to my studio and USE them for other purposes. Thanks for the inspiration. I am off to explore your blog, Pam
