Riley Blake Fabric Fest 2013 and a Giveaway!....





Come take a road trip

It's going to be sew much fun!
4 days of quilty celebration and inspiration.
There will all kinds of classes and events...
including a fashion show!
You will be able to sew and create to your hearts content:) 



I will be teaching projects with Bake Sale from my Cherry Bake pattern...
and my stunt double and daughter 
Kassidy Grace will be there right beside me:)

I'm also going to be teaching another class with the

which will be released in September just in time for Fabric Fest!
I have designed a fun and flirty quilt especially for the class.

I would love to come to Fabric Fest! I would love to see Riley Blake's warehouse, so many lovelies in one place! Then to get to swoon over the different designer booths, designs and of course the classes! The venue in Vegas is like a cherry on a Sunday!

WOW! The eye candy of the fabrics are calling me to Vegas and a class with the circle rulers - what could a gal ask for more? That would just be the icing on the cake, I do believe. Of course, I'd have to take a detour on the way back home and come through Albuquerque (where I am now) and visit my daughter and her family. Thanks for the great giveaway.

BECAUSE IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Well, September 6th is. I've never been to a sewing retreat or anything like it. Everything I know about quilting and sewing I learned from blogs. I could really use a class or two.
How wonderful that you included your daughters! I have 4 daughters and I love doing special projects with them!

I would LOVE to go to fabric fest because I am the only one in our family that sews and would LOVE to spend some time with some gals that love to sew. I am self taught and I can only imagine what I could learn from the others at fabric fest and from the instructors and classes!

I would love to come and Vegas is even close enough to drive. I LOVE your collections and Riley blake has some of my most favorite fabrics. The schedule of events and classes sound excellent and I would love to attend, but I have a baby due at the end of August so the timing not the best. If he comes early though I will totally consider attending.

I would love to go to the fabric fest because I have never been to one. In fact, I have never been to a quilting class. I have always taught myself how to quilt by reading books and more recently blogs by fellow quilters. The tips and tricks I have picked up from fellow quilters have helped me. I think a Las Vegas trip would be perfect for me. My husband passed away 2 months ago and I finished the row along quilt top. It is so cheery it makes me happy just to look at it. It is next to be quilted on my longarm. I have been doing giveaway quilts for Norman OK. so it has taken a back seat. Your new line looks wonderful.

I have loved Riley Blake fabric since my first experience seeing it. Many of the fabrics remind me of my Mother and my Aunt Edna. They were my inspirations to sew and quilt. I would love to experience everything Riley Blake at their gathering!

41 years ago, I was told by my sewing teacher to quit while I was ahead because I wasn't cut out to be a sewer. That was just enouGh to challenge me and I continued to teach myself to sew. Now I make quilts and all sorts of things and would love to go to fabric fest to learn even more. You're never too old to learn new things! I wonder what my teacher would say....now.
