And turned them into a whole hive of "worker bees".
Sherri from A Quilting Life came in from out of state and we had a fun day shopping together along with her cutie pie SIL Leann, and 3 of my BFF's Susann, Rae Ann and Nanette.
I put each of them in a little cellophane bag...
I had them made into the convenient size of a bookmark....

You always come up with the cutest ideas! The bees are so perfect for your group. I just saw pictures of your day over on Rae Ann's blog.
Hey, it looks like I'm coming into town next week for the sewing day at Jackie's. See you soon!
I love, love, love......your blog...the bees, the aprons, the lawn chair pin cushions and most especially.....the music!!!!
How can I get your music on my blog????
Your bees are adorable! We're in apron mode here... my granddaughter made her first apron yesterday... fun! I might have to look for some adorable little bees and decorate one for her!
You're so funny! Those little bees are adorable. I can see that summer is just one big LONG party out there -- too fun!
Oh Lori..those are too darn cute! The aprons are the perfect touch to the busy little bees. You are so creative!
I have your blog card up on my inspiration board! I absolutely love it! Such a great idea!
Lori, you find the CUTEST little things! I must not be looking in the right places. These apronettas are adorable. Nothing like a busy bee in the hive :-)
Your creativity is AMAZING! I would never have thought of dressing up those cute little guys!
They are so cute Lori! Thanks so much for everything you did yesterday...and for taking my million phone calls! We did absolutely love our day...and Quilter's Haven was a great shop too! I'll be on your blog for awhile today showing LeeAnne your things!
Lori - you are so creative. I dropped by to tell you that I ordered three, maybe four, of your patterns day before yesterday. I am so excited I can't remember what I ordered! I am stalking the mail man. He thinks I am nuts, but that's okay. I just might be. I love you card/bookmark idea and the bees are so cute...how lucky your friends are. ~Kelly

You never cease to amaze me. Apparently you are still the busy little bee you were when we were dear friends long ago...

Love your blogging cards! Your photo from your childhood is pricelss! Great worker bees!
Those are too cute! Your friends are so lucky! The chairs, tho have a special meaning to me. My grandparents had those chairs when I was little and I loved sitting in one under the tree with my grandpa.
Thanks for sharing your great idea!

How FUN! You know, I wondered if that was you in that pic! What a treasure! Your mama had the same sense of humor and creative eye that you do! :)
Love your bees! They are perfect now that they are properly dressed. :-)
I saw the bees on Nanette's blog. So cute, how you dressed them!
I love to visit your website. The hospitality you share is heartwarming. Thank you for sharing.
