Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Along - Farm Girl Friday's - Last Week!!

Hello and welcome to the very last week of

Grab your book

And your Farm Girl Vintage Fabric...

And let's make one more Farm Girl Block!

Our Farm Girl Block
 for today is
WINTER QUILT
on page 135 of the book.

What a fun scrappy block...
it's another one that is perfect to
use up your leftovers and colorful prints
 from your scrappy stash...
It's the kind of block
that I really love to make!

Grandpa's Quilt Block is the
last of the 8 quilt blocks
that are used to make the doll quilts.

You know I love doll quilts sew much...

But I also love mini quilts and these
doll quilts are perfect for wall hangings
and because they are so small they are
so easy to tuck here and there
throughout your home for a
scrappy happy bright spot!

I placed this one in a
 painted wooden tray and
I love the way it looks.

It also looks great on any surface
 as a small table topper:)

By the way...
Aren't these pears cute??

You can make some of your own
 and other fruit shape softies
 by using the set

I hope y'all have had so much fun
sewing all 45 Farm Girl Blocks
from the book during this sew along ...

And that you enjoy putting
 your quilt together.
The pattern for putting it together
is on page 138 of the book.

is doing a fun giveaway
to celebrate this sew along
so be sure to go over and check it out!!

Remember that there are more quilts
in the book using that
same setting pattern...

OCTOBER SKIES

BEEKEEPER'S GARDEN

And the surprise quilt from
 a few post's back...

And of course besides those quilts ...

 and projects throughout the book.

Thank you so much from the
bottom of my heart for sewing along with me.

It's been an honor celebrating
my second Farm Girl Vintage Book with you!

As you know I am a true blue farm girl
 and I'm vintage too!! lol...
and so each and every project comes
from my heart and from my memories
of growing up on a farm:)

Thank you so much Lori! I have absolutely loved sewing these blocks each week and keeping up with this sew along! I just got my first row sewn together. I'm not sure which of my four kids is going to claim this one, but I fear a fight may break out! 😅

I am one week behind but hope to catch up soon. My store is now closed but I continue to work as we are offering curbside and online ordering. Hope to get on track this weekend. Thanks for doing this for so many weeks. It has been a treasure for me and otherwise would never have happened without your blog.
Hoping we can get you to come to Phoenix again. 35th Ave Sew and Vac
