Welcome to week eleven of the

We are making the
PRIM QUILT

And my newest fabric collection

to read that post.
So far we have made

for the first week blog post
"JOY and CONTENTMENT"
for that blog post
"PEACE and PLENTY"
for that blog post
"KINDNESS and GENEROSITY"
for that blog post
"BEAUTY and SIMPLICITY"

"HOME and HEARTH"

"FAITH and ENDURANCE"

"LOVE and FRIENDSHIP"

And this week we are making
"GRATITUDE and GRACE"
Prim Sew Simple Shapes
needed for Block Eleven:
2 - K10
1 - K12
1 - K13
1 - K14
1 - K15
1 - K16
1 - K17
2 - K34
5 - K51
2 - K53
4 - K60
*You will need to cut 2 - 1/4"
straight bias 2" long and press them
in half for the pear stems.
*You will need 2 - curved 1/4"
bias flower stems.
They should measure 10" and 12"
after one end is pressed under.
After sewing your shapes and before turning...
you will need to clip the inner curves
and cleavage in the seam allowance
of the little cake stand top and bottom...
the flowers ...the pears and the stars.
All turned... shaped and pressed:)
Pin basting and Sue Glue:)
I especially love this block ...
I love the pears and the
navy flowers with aqua centers are so cute!
After appliqué press from the back
and trim it up:)
GRATITUDE and GRACE
should measure 16 1/2" square
before sewing into our quilt.
And speaking of sewing our quilt...
only one more block to go
after this one!!!
I always get happy and sad
at the same time when we are
nearing the end of a sew along...
but I know that there is always
another one around the corner!
I'll tell you all about it
on the last week of this sew along:)
Thank you once again
for joining me this week
and I'll be back next week
with block 12!
xx
